Intraday Signals: Top Intraday Trades to make today

In the recently concluded trading session, the market exhibited a subdued performance. The benchmark index, Nifty, fluctuated within a constrained range of 24,100-24,200 throughout the day. Ultimately, it managed to eke out a modest gain of 0.02% to finish the session marginally higher.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index, however, lagged behind its larger counterpart. It concluded the day with a loss of 0.59%, reflecting a more cautious sentiment in the mid-cap segment.

In terms of sector performance, the IT and Consumer Durables sectors emerged as the top performers, while the Metals and Media sectors exhibited some weakness.

The options market indicated a mild bearish undertone. There was a noticeable concentration of open interest at the 24500 Call and 24000 Put. Additionally, call writing surpassed put writing activity, hinting at a cautious outlook.

The trading range for the current session is anticipated to remain within the VWAP range of 23875 to 24370. The Max Pain level stands at 24200. The Put-Call Ratio (PCR) of 0.822 suggests a slightly more bearish orientation.

Institutional activity saw FIIs continue their selling spree, with a net offload totaling 2595.27 crore. DIIs, on the other hand, remained net buyers, with an aggregate inflow of 2236.21 crore.

In the futures segment, FINNIFTY FUTURES witnessed a decline of 219 points, while BANKNIFTY FUTURES experienced a significant drop of 14140 points. MIDCPNIFTY FUTURES and NIFTYNXT50 FUTURES also closed with losses, while NIFTY FUTURES registered a modest gain of 5357 points.
