Depending on the type of the Algo, it will perform trades in Intraday or F&O based on the levels created by Stratzy research team.

Yes, there are certain eligibility criteria to invest in Algos. You need to have a Dhan, Paytm Money, AngelOne, 5Paisa or AliceBlue account. You must have an account balance of the minimum allocation required in that particular algo. If you do not meet these criteria, you will be redirected to the appropriate screen.

How do I setup trading in Algos?

To setup trading in Algos, you need to have a Dhan, Paytm Money, AngelOne, 5Paisa or AliceBlue account. Once you have the account, you can explore various algos, setup your allocation amount, switch on auto trading and its done!

Can | withdraw my capital at any time?

Yes, you can withdraw your investment at any time. The money stays in your broking account, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.

Drawdown is the difference between the highest and lowest point in equity curve. Drawdown percent is directly proportional with the risk involved. The percent number mentioned in the algos screen does not include leverage.

What is Backtest period?

Backtesting involves applying a strategy or predictive model to historical data to determine its accuracy. The duration shown on the algos screen represents the look back period the algo was tested on prior to the date of its release.

In what duration is the CAGR Calculated?

The compounded annual growth rate will change constantly as the duration considered is the past one year from the current day.

What is meant by minimum Allocation?

The minimum amount of capital you will have to keep aside so that the algo utilises those funds from regularly by deploying them in various trades.

Difference between allocation and Deployment?

Allocation is the amount you set aside as a pledge that this much can be used by the algorithm going ahead. Deployment is the capital that is currently being used in a live trade.

Algos are not completely risk-free endeavour. Stratzy will always try to minimize losses, but users should proceed with caution. Only enter this product if you understand the risks associated with it.

What is technical risk?

All algorithms are subject to technical failure in execution while entering, exiting or selection of stocks. Although automation provides the conviencce to not montior markets all the times. It is advisable to users to constantly keep monitoring the trades to take manual control whenever necessary.

What is data inconsistency risk?

Change in the data structure used or real time feed data can lead to wrong selection of stocks during backtest or live markets. We have tried to navigate this in our systems but still live market risk can appear during volatile times.

What is concentration risk?

Too many people using same algo can lead to concentration of orders, especially in contracts or stocks with low liquidity. It is also advisable to not put too much capital on one algo.

What is Overfitting the Data?

Over-optimising the model can lead to good backtest results but not lead to right results during live markets. We try to solve for this before launching an algo by making sure the signal is based on a economic rationale/market inefficiency but still all algos are prone to this risk.
